WITH GUIDING, GIRLS CAN DO ANYTHING
GET TO KNOW US
Girlguiding is dedicated to creating a better world for girls and young women.
We empower girls, we give them space to grow and we ensure that each one of them can get involved - no matter what their background or ability.

Girlguiding Kidsgrove is part of Girlguiding – the leading charity for girls and young women in the UK with over 500,000 members. We are run by volunteers with the aim of inspiring girls to be their best.
Girlguiding Kidsgrove is one of 3 Districts that make up Girlguiding Stoke North.
At Girlguiding Kidsgrove we have Rainbow, Brownie, Guide and Ranger units who meet regularly across the area.
We are a friendly district and our aim is to provide the best Girlguiding and life opportunities for all our members. We give girls and young women a space where they can be themselves, have fun, build brilliant friendships, gain valuable life skills and make a positive difference to their lives and our local communities.
We build girls’ confidence and raise their aspirations. We give them the chance to discover their full potential and encourage them to be a powerful force for good and most importantly, we give them a space to have fun.
WHAT WE OFFER
RAINBOWS
Ages 4-7
Rainbows learn by doing – they get their hands dirty, do sports, arts and crafts and play games. Being a Rainbow is all about having the space to try new things. Through taking part in a range of different activities with girls their own age, Rainbows develop self-confidence and make lots of new friends.
BROWNIES
Aged 7-10
Brownies introduces girls to a world of new opportunities, challenges and fun.
Girls go along to holidays, day trips and sleepovers. They get together with their friends at regular meetings where they learn new hobbies, get creative, develop skills and have outdoor adventures.
As well as trying activities in their meetings, girls choose from interest badges related to things they want to know more about.
GUIDES
Ages 10-14
What you do in Guides is up to you, from taking part in lots of exciting activities at regular meetings to special events and trips away.
You will choose from different badges and awards which will help you learn new skills and try new challenges. You can do some of this on your own and others you’ll do in groups in your regular unit meetings.
RANGERS
Aged 14-18
Rangers meet up regularly, have fun doing activities together and be recognised for their achievements with badges and awards. Whatever you want to do, Rangers offers a range of unique opportunities.
In Rangers you'll follow our programme of interest badges, skills builders and awards. You'll take part in amazing challenges, travel the world and develop skills across our six themes.
